I was in Mexico for three weeks and I had some time to really seek and pray and hear what the Lord is saying for 2014. We always hear words for the next year and what prophetic words do is prepare us for what the Lord is going to do, what the Lord wants to do, and it’s all done through words. While I was there the Lord showed me a couple of things.

One of the things He showed me was a group of people standing on the seashore watching and looking. And there were other people in the water, in a sense, playing and doing things. He also showed me a field and in the beginning, everything looked the same, but as time went on some things stood up and some things dropped down.

One of the adventures we went on in Mexico was a cascade of water. And it was like a big pool of water at the bottom of a waterfall coming down. I jumped in and swam into the waterfall. I am just prefacing what I saw and some things the Lord showed me before I speak about them.

What I hear the Lord saying for 2014 is that there are many people who have been standing on the seashore and the Lord says, this is your season. You’ve watched people in ministry. You’ve heard people talk about ministry but this is the year that you DO ministry. The Lord says it’s time for you to shift. Stop standing on around. Stop watching and move into the forefront of what I’m doing because I’ve called you. I’ve called you to participate and to take part in the things that I’m doing, says the Lord. And it’s this year! The previous years, the times you’ve been standing by you’ve been observing, and they have been times of preparation. But the Lord says, this is the year you move forward and you move into the forefront of what I’m doing. Because I’ve raised up and army and I’m raising up an army to take forth, to move forward. Yes, the kingdom of darkness is there but God says this year the Kingdom of Light is going to push back the darkness that is trying to come. This is the year the Lord’s people will rise up higher than ever before.

Of the vision of things standing up and bowing down, the Lord said this, there are some people who have been on the fence. There are some people who have not quite made the decision in their heart. They confess some things and they profess some things but they haven’t made up their minds. Their hearts have not been right. The Lord says, this is the season when your actions are going to line up with those things that you say. There are things you have been fighting and battling, but you have been confessing and fighting with your words. The Lord says this is the season, this is the year, when your actions will line up with your words. And you will stand on them. You have stood and you have risen above your circumstances. You have risen above those things that have held you back and held you down. This is your year to rise up.

With the water fall I saw…….when I jumped in and swam, in the beginning it was easy, it was normal. But as I got closer to the waterfall, the water that was pouring out was now pushing me back. And I had to put forth effort to move into the outpouring. And the Lord said, I’m pouring out of My Spirit and there’s going to be some resistance but if you depend on My grace, if you depend on My strength you will move into what I have for you. The outpouring of My Spirit, the infilling of My Spirit, will empower you, that what once seemed hard will now be easy.

The other thing I saw is this……..during worship, I saw again the people standing on the seashore and one of the things holding them back last year was a lack of strength, a lack of finances, and a lack of power. And the Lord said this.  He took me to Exodus, with the Israelites in Egypt. What God said was this, you have the authority! Moses had the rod. You have My word. God says when you get to the place or a place where it seems you cannot go any further, you speak to it. Speak to it in the authority I have given you because there is nothing that can hold you back from doing what I called you to do in 2014, when you declare it with My words. When you come in My name and you speak My word, mountains will move, seas will part and you will go forth into what I have planned for you. Stop saying you don’t have the money. Receive it! I’ve given it to you. Stop saying you don’t have the strength. Receive it! I’ve given it to you in Christ. Stop saying you don’t have the power. I’ve given it to you. Everything you need has been given to you in Christ Jesus. This is the year that you stand up and walk in the authority, walk in the power, and receive the financial blessing, the financial provision you need to do what I’ve called you to do, says the Lord. Stop making excuses. Stop complaining. Stand up and move forward in MY name, says the Lord.

New Year’s day I got up early in the morning and I was spending time with the Lord. I asked Him for a specific word for this coming year. I’m not going to be foolish enough to believe that word is just for me. I believe it is for everyone in this room and for everyone who is willing to hear what the Lord is saying and take if for himself or herself.

The Lord said to me, know that this year is a year of quick arrivals. Those things you pursued will overtake you even while you sleep. My hand has never been slow. But to prove my commitment to you – experiences, encounters and sudden manifestations will be my gift to you to share in your spheres of influence, says the Lord.

I believe I heard the following from the Lord regarding 2014

This is the year of Promises Fulfilled - things I have promised you in the past which you have been waiting for, will now begin to take shape and come to pass this year.

This is the year of Overtaking and Overcoming - the things that have tried to hinder your progress before will now be your stepping stone into my purposes, but only if you make them your stepping stone! No more victim mentality, learn to see yourself as who you really are in my Son which is more than a conqueror!

This is the year of Strategic Repositioning - I will begin move people and ministries around so that individuals may grow in me and also for the benefit and strengthening of my church body.

This is the year of Divine Acceleration - of individuals and church bodies alike to grow, mature, and start to take their places in my overall kingdom plan. 

This is the year of Divine Alliances - as more and more church bodies come together under the banner of love and fellowship, you will begin to see greater levels of my glory being poured out. These alliances will also be key for the divine acceleration to happen.

This is the year of Healing of Wounds and Freedom - If you allow me, then I will begin to expose the hidden roots of deep seated and unresolved wounds and lies in the souls of my people that have hindered them in the past. I want to bring healing, and wholeness to their life and have them experience what the fullness of salvation is really all about. This will prepare them so that they can walk in their true identity in my Son as well as function correctly in their role within the church body.

I know when God Almighty speaks to me. Matt, there were words you said. Lucia, there were words you said. And I told Norm earlier, the Lord gave me the prophetic word in pieces. I had a vision. I had a dream. And I was awakened by the dream. The Lord showed me specific numbers, specific verses to go to. And as we were praising and worshiping, the Lord took me to a specific scripture. I want to read this before I give you the prophetic word.

First let me say this to you…….we always talk about resolutions. People make New Year’s resolutions all the time. But I want to go to the word out of Ezra then I will release the word the Lord gave me. Ezra 7:9, “On the first of the first month he started out from Babylon, and on the first of the fifth month he arrived in Jerusalem, for upon him was the good hand of his God.” Verse 10 says, “For Ezra had prepared and set his heart to seek the Law of the Lord [to inquire for it and of it, to require and yearn for it], and to do and teach in Israel its statutes and its ordinances.”

What I heard the Spirit of the Lord says was……….PREPARATION!  Preparation! Preparation, saith the Lord. In the vision I was standing in a field. I was on one end of the field and I was looking across. And I saw four tornadoes rise up. And then behind the four tornadoes, I saw another tornado come to the forefront. I said, Lord, what is this? And I heard the Lord say, I’m going to release My might, My strength, My power and My glory upon the earth to pull up, to root out, to pluck up the things in My people that have hindered them from fully knowing Me and yielding to My plan and My purpose for their lives. The wind of the Spirit is going to blow, people! And that fifth tornado, the Lord said, those that prepare their hearts will know that I am God Almighty, and I will put My fear and My dread upon them. I’ll cause them to know Me, saith the Spirit of Almighty God, that I am God Almighty and there is none else.
