Interpretation of a Vision

A friend of mine had a vision in church on December 29, 2013. While sitting with his eyes closed he saw himself standing upon a large chess board. He was smaller than the smallest pawns and the taller pieces where huge. Then he saw a brown eagle’s wing, just the wing, so immense that it dwarfed the chess board. The wing came over the chess board and every tall chess piece that was hit by the wing was broken where it was hit. They were not knocked over but the tops were lopped off. The smaller pieces were unaffected. As he watched this he knew he was under the shadow of His wing and that he had to remain small in his own eyes.

I believe the Lord is sounding the alarm and sounding a warning, it will not be business as usual continuing with 2014. The Church is in transition. He is showing my friend several things, some for every Christian and some for Christian leaders.

The vision brings to mind the scripture, "For all those who exalt themselves will be humbled, and those who humble themselves will be exalted" Luke 14:11. So first of all, the vision on a macro scale, has to do with the Lord’s requirements for our hearts of humility and dependence on Him. We must aim to stay "small” (or humble in our eyes) and to be hidden under His wings (completely dependent on Him).

On the micro or smaller scale, He is also saying that anyone in leadership exalting him or herself above the place of servanthood will be removed from his place of authority in the Spirit and in the kingdom (heads lopped off). There is only one Head - Jesus Christ. And all those who compete with His headship will be beheaded (authority removed). They may still function but they will be doing so in the flesh without the backup of heaven.

This goes hand in hand with the vision my younger son Joshua saw last year for the prophetic meeting on 12.29.12 where he saw churches closing because the authentic and the non-authentic were both being revealed. I believe we will see this more and more. He saw in fullness what was coming and we have seen some fall and close up this year. I believe it will augment.

My husband Norm had a vision over 20 years ago. He saw the New Jerusalem come down from heaven and fit itself over the churches operating on the earth, one by one. If the pattern of the governmental structure of the New Jerusalem fit perfectly, the church was held intact. If the mold did not fit perfectly, whatever was not New Jerusalem was destroyed. It reminded him of the press that molded the fenders in Detroit's auto industry. He lived there in his youth so he is familiar with that factory operation. When the press came down, whatever fell into it became fender, whether it was metal or the man's finger. It was like that. That New Jerusalem mold came down and pressed itself against what existed. If it didn't fit, it was destroyed. He still remembers that vision it was so clear and vivid, and this was when we knew very little about the apostolic.

He who has ears to hear, let him hear what the Spirit is speaking to His Church.
